Google Wave to be released to 100,000 testers Wednesday

Google announced a new web application is called Google Wave. Wave combines fundamentals of blogs, e-mail and photo sharing sits to generate a new form of web communication called" hosted conversation" or "waves"

"This should be something everybody uses and everybody knows" Jens Rasmussen, one of the creators of Wave said. Multiple users can edit their emails communication simultaneously, and users can discuss a document or file upload in real time.

This article got my attention because once again Google is evolving the web.

The article is about a global campaign to emphasize Yahoo's strengths with consumers and advertisers. This campaign is one of the biggest for this company. Its products such as its home page, mail and search services are intended to make things easier for users to personalize them as well as to incorporate services from around the web such as Facebook or Twitter feeds.
This article gets my attention because Yahoo with this campaign is trying to make a difference with its competition, as it is Google. I’ m a user for both companies. I use Google for my searching and Yahoo for my emails. I am interested in learning about the new features and services that Yahoo will offer. In addition, marketing campaigns are of interest to me because I am an AD student.

This article is related to our class because Yahoo is incorporating new web services. It is very important to know how users spend their time using those new features.

Summary: The article is about a new Google’s search tool called Google’s Fast Flip. This tool allows people find content and to flip through newspaper and magazine articles from many publisher. This tool is consider legal and gives benefits to publishers since their able to show full pages, full books online, rather than a short version.
This article gets my attention because this search tool could be use for many people who prefer to read articles and books over the computer instead paper. Having the access full pages of books and magazines online, helps to search any kind the information for the users as myself.
Google is one of the most popular and most used search engines. it is related to our class because as web designers we have to be well informed about new technology and advances that companies are taking to implement the way we surf the web, in this case, Google is giving its viewers; entire libraries, magazines and newspapers at their fingertips.
